- MUST READS. Before new members are allowed to create characters and roleplay, they must first read the sticky threads marked with [MR!] in the subject title. [MR!] stands for "MUST READ!" and are just that--must reads.
- RESPECT. Please respect all members of the site, new and old. The staff tries to maintain a fun and safe environment, and this vision can only be upheld if its members do their part.
- MATURITY. Blood Oath is a mature site, meaning we are PG-17 and above. Cursing, violence, and sexual content is allowed in character. However, please keep said things to a minimum when posting out of character. While this is not a ban, this is to ensure a safer and more respectful environment when not roleplaying. Also be aware that we do allowed sexual content, but we do not allow full blown sex scenes which include orals as this is against the proboards policy, so please keep that in private.
- THREADS. Please mark your threads for explicit content in your thread subject. Do so by adding [M] somewhere in the title.
- ACTIVITY. Activity checks will be conducted every month. All members will be contacted a week in advance and will be expected to post in the activity check thread. Failure to do so will result in deletion.
- SIGNATURES. Signatures must not stretch the boards.
- GENERAL. Because we are a literate to advanced site, we expect our members to know the regulations for literacy, powerplaying and godmodding. If you are planning on joining a site with this level of expectation, then you are familiar with what you must and must not do. Blood Oath requires a word count of at least 150 words per IC post. This is to ensure you provide a substantial amount of content to work off of. However, we don't mean to come off as strict--you may post just below the word minimum so long as there is enough content to reply to.
- LIQUID TIME. Liquid time, meaning that your character can be present in multiple threads, is allowed. Please keep track of your roleplays!
- LIMIT. There is a character limit of 5 characters at this time, but more maybe earned through activity and rewarded through site events.

Please do not use animated characters or characters from manga as these tend to be copyrighted and have legal consequences for use without permission.
